Going South for the Weekend
Anyone got any suggestion for my friend's bachelor party in New Orleans this weekend outside of not getting arrested? I'm with a big group, so I should have some time to peel away from the entourage at some point. I don't like casinos, but do like meet markets and live music.

I've never been to The Big Easy, but it's good that you are going because they may soon be a hurricane that wipes it away into the Gulf. I've heard there are no plans to rebuild if this happens that would be spooky.
I suggest seeing famous movie sites -- from Easy Rider, Interview with a Vampire, Double Jeopardy (sorry, couldn't think of anything else.)

I'd suggest (retroactively) scoring some dirty brown rock and an emaciated smack whore, but then again, I'd suggest that for any city anywhere.
Gas Guy - for many of my friends, the weekend was quite similar to what you've suggested. My camera battery has died, however, and as soon as that light goes green and I get home, you'll get the full monty along with some, well, interesting photos.
